Welcome to Enzo
Hello and welcome to Enzo. His mum was no stranger to us. We treated her late darling dog, Monty for many years.
When she started to see intermittent lameness in Enzo, she was keen to get it in check as quickly as possible.
Enzo was a darling and had the cutest smile. I was a little shocked as the poor darling had been labled grumpy with that smile!
The intermittent forelimb lameness was not too bad at all. There are many possibilities for this, but the most common is elbow dysplasia. That term is a fairly blanket term for elbow issues as it comes in many forms.
However, it was noted that Enzo had some weight to lose. Not too much, but enough to potentially aggravate and issue, so that was the first thing to address.
I formed a home plan to get him back on track.
It’s been a few months now, and I’ve not had any further reports of issues, so I suspect he is doing well.
Well done, mum and Enzo. I know you will page a whole family helping you right now.
