Welcome back Frida! This little doughnut dweller had a quick show on Facebook a while back but I never had the chance to share her full story.

Frida actually saw me just over a year ago. I’m proud to share that this mum has known me for many years as I also treated her late dog.

Frida came to meet me when she ruptured her cruciate ligament. She had a wonderful recovery.

Sadly, many dogs will rupture the other cruciate in the other leg within the next year. This science changes all the time. We used to believe that it was approximately 50% of dogs who would go through this. It’s now considered this is closer to 40%. However, there are so many factors. A dog who is overweight has a higher chance of being one of the unlucky ones in the statistic.

We hoped Frida was one to dodge the bullet  but sadly she also ruptured her second limb.

I am thrilled to report that she is also along a wonderful recovery. She is not very compliant, but she is excellent at healing.
