We had to blog that a pain score had been halved!

We routinely use LOAD scores now to determine pain levels. LOAD is a liverpool university validated pain scoring system for arthritis. So you can’t argue with the science!

We are thrilled when we get the scored back as they show us progression. What we typically see is a great improvement following starting physio. Horatios score has been incredible and reduced from 34 in October, which was the extreme category, to 17 now which is the moderate catagory!

We love the LOAD scores as they also help to show when the patients needs are increasing again so we can stay in top of thier needs and an owner can know when more interventions are needed.
