We are thrilled to announce that we are now mentoring 4 Mentees of Animal physiotherapy!

This industry can be a very lonely one. We often work alone and self employed. This can be isolating and means that you don’t know where to turn for help when you have a difficult case, or business help or any other of life’s working problems.

Dr Megan Kelly Set up Online pet health a few years ago, when she felt there was not enough good quality ongoing animal physiotherapy training in South Africa. She didn’t realise how much of an issue this was globally.

She set about providing online training with the best rehabbers from all over the world.

This was a game changer for the profession. We now have access to the peak of the profession, on demand! As a result her company has flourished.

Megan listened to fellow vet rehabbers and so the Mentoring program was born. This offered support from established animal physios, to those who want some guidance.

Donna volunteered to be a mentor to give back to her fellow rehabbers. Donna was thrilled when she was then sent 4 mentees.

Donna had her first streamed meeting and the feedback was wonderful.

We discussed areas for development, set goals together and set our next meeting date.

Most importantly we have found new friends and new support that we didn’t have before.

Covid has pushed everyone to get online more, and this has bizarrely shrunk the world.

Thank you to our Mentee’s for joining the scheme and to Megan for setting it up, and Agnes for co ordinating it!

For Donna, she has found it a real lift as this process has make her reflect on her 15 yrs as an animal physio. She has been able to relive the journey she has been on to get to where she is now.
