Our physiotherapy training for animals, is largely focused on horses and dogs. But there are far most species out there that are owned animals and can benefit from our care.

Why learn physiotherapy and rehab for other species?

Donna has vast multi specie experience from growing up with a farmer uncle, to agricultural collage where most of the time is spent looking after an vast array of species. She then became a veterinary nurse and physiotherapist.

As a qualified as a physio, she noticed that there was no training on the other animal species. Yet she was frequently referred cats and rabbits.

Donna applied her knowledge and has worked on many species of all shapes and sizes, from skunks to elephants. She frequently treats cats and rabbits.

She developed this course to help other physios and students learn how to approach any new species that may be presented. This helps grow confidence in dealing with the new patient type. We can then offer effective physiotherapy to any animal in need.

Who has attended this course

This course has been widely praised by those who attended in person. Training collage of animal physiotherapy (TCAP) has regularly offered this course out to their students and hosted it at their venue. Donna has taken the time to get it online so anyone in the world can benefit, Covid or not!
