Welcome to Parker
Hello and welcome to Parker. Such a cute young man!
He became lame and mum felt she wanted to try physio before option for anaesthetics and x-rays. The vet agreed this was a good idea as they also had not found anything significant .
There was conciderable mucles loss in the lame limb but no pain signs when checked over, so we set some gentle muscle building excercises with a light walk regime, little and often.
We had great results and the lameness reduced. However the lameness didn’t go completly, so after a few weeks the xrays and further investigation was done.
A partial ruptured cruciate was found. So he ended up needing surgery as a dog of his size has a far better recovery with surgical intervention.
But we are here ready and waiting for the rehab.
Keep up the good work mum and Parker!
