Hello and welcome to Bently.

This beautiful boy has an amazing family. He came to us with Elbow dysplasia both sides and a torn grumbling cruciate. They opted to managed All of this Conservativly. This means physio rather than surgery.

Sometimes surgery is the only route but all cases must be looked at individually. These bull breeds are a higher risk band for anaesthetic and the severity of the disease must also be taken into account. Will the outcome following surgery be worth the surgery. This must all be discussed with the vet to make that decision. So here conservative management was agreed by all.

We set up mum and Bently with a home plan to strengthen the muscles that support these joints.
