This week we interviewed Vet Vistoria Phillips MRCVS.

Cuppa Tea with the Vet – Victoria Phillips

It was amazing to learn so much about her! She has been so busy!

I first met Victoria when she was a general practice vet in Forest House Veterinary Group, Windsor. She was ambitious then but I had no idea how far she would go….I did know she loved to travel though!

Victoria has managed to turn her love of travel and welfare into her full time job. She is a vet working for SPANA. This is a charity caring for working animals. This is a very difficult subject as no one wants to see suffering. But poverty is rife globally and that impacts on how animals are treated anywhere on the planet. Her Victoria has dedicated her veterinary to teaching owners how to care for their animals and treat them where needed. Watch the video to find out more. She leads a whole team and its quite incredible.

This transition was able to come after she did a certificate in medicine and emergency care.

She has now taken her new skills of management and guidance to make her own business as a coach too. This is so incredible as its something so useful to help so many find their dream life.

I was also thrilled to hear how Victoria is a grade 8 Pianist! I am insanely jealous of that! Its very high level! All of her travel has not tainted her palate, as she still loves the home comforts of a Sunday roast cooked by her mum!

Of course we have to share how much she loves physio.

I’ve brought Marley to you!

There is so many benefits for a whole range of conditions

Speeds recovery, gives owners something to do and they want to be involved!

The animals often really enjoy it….as they often aren’t getting the normal level of exercise that they normally get. So the physiotherapy also gives them mental stimulation as well as a bit of exercise. This makes them calmer in the home.

I’ve done a lot of physio on my dog

I’ve had physio on my own knee and its made a huge difference.

All in all, I’m a big physiotherapist fan!
