Hello and welcome to Sapphire. Such a sweet blue staffie! They are all such excited guys who love life!

This little one got a very sore knee (stifle). It had a joint infection. He went to referral and was given antibiotics to treat it. But he has been left very very lame.

So he has been referred for physio. Joint infections are nasty and do alot of damage. Arthritis can form and other structures can also deteriorate.

So we have started what may be a very long journey of care. We have been assured the infection is all gone and that the cruciate is still sound. So we have begun a program of muscle building, pain relief and confidence building.

So far, Sapphire is doing well. Keep up the good work Sapphire and mum!
